The padlocks are well secured with a boron shackle that resists cutting, and double ball bearing locking on each side of the shackle. The Y227 Yale padlocks are also excellent at weather protection with a weather proof jacket and cover over the keyway and have been corrosion tested......and they have been extensively tested and have been award the excellent level of EN 12320:2012.
