Sliding Door Locks

Sliding doors are often found in homes and businesses where space is limited and a standard hinged door would not be suitable.  With sliding doors comes the requirement of a different type of lock, normal deadbolt will not secure a sliding door.  Sliding doors have two lock bolt option, hook and claw.  Hook bolts, as the name suggests, utilise a hook bolt to secure the door, when key is turned the hook pivots out the lock case into keep located on the door frame.  Claw bolts operate in a similar fashion with the bolt extending left and right into the lock keep to secure the door.
