It's a case-only product, which means you choose your own euro profile cylinder separately. That's not a limitation — it's a genuine advantage. It means you can pair this case with whatever cylinder best suits your security requirements, your keyway system, or your master key scheme. Want a high-security anti-snap, anti-bump cylinder for a front door on a busy street? You can. Need to key a whole block of flats alike? That works too. 

And the case itself is built to withstand a serious physical attack. The lock case features hardened steel plates on both faces to resist drilling — meaning a drill bit meets hardened steel rather than the softer case material underneath. The deadbolt goes further still, with laminated hardened steel plates and hardened steel rollers built into the bolt itself to resist hacksawing. These aren't token security additions — they're the physical attack resistance features that earned this lock its British Standard certification and the backing of both insurers and the Police.

The bolt throws 20mm — a solid, authoritative engagement with the keep that doesn't leave room for the door to be pushed or flexed open.

Fully reversible as standard, the ERA Fortress case fits left and right-hand doors without modification. Two case sizes cover the most common door preparations: the ERA 263 at 64mm with a 44mm backset, and the ERA 363 at 76mm with a 56mm backset. Both are available in Polished Brass, Satin Chrome, and Polished Chrome — three finishes that cover the full range of door furniture styles found on UK residential and commercial properties.
