Asec Oval Bullet Lock

Oval bullet locks, used to lock and secure shutter locks by restricting movement of shutter door. When in the closed position, a hole is drilled through the runner on each side of the shutter. The hole goes through the runner and shutter door and the bullet lock housing is then welded to the shutter runner. Once in place the bullet lock can be inserted into the housing. The pin on the rear of bullet lock will pass through housing, runner and shutter restricting any movement. Asec Bullet Locks can be supplied in lengths of 78mm and 88mm with pin lengths of 45mm and 55mm accordingly. Keyed differ and keyed alike options for these locks are also available.

Operation

Sprung locking pin on top of cylinder barrel is depressed by a turn of the key, allowing the bullet to be inserted or withdrawn from the housing.
