Asec Kite British Standard Kitemarked Auto Deadlocking Nighlatches

The Asec BS Nightlach Lock is an excellent cost-effective alternative to other BS rim Nightlatches on the market  as it comes with everything needed to fit to a wooden inward opening door including screw fixings, keep and cylinder and cylinder pull, they are also available in a range of finishes. The lock is perfect for glass panelled door’s as the lever on the inside has a locking function to enable you to lock the lever when exiting the property.  This prevents the lever from being used to gain entry if glass in the door has been removed or broken. The latch piece will extend and deadlock when the door is in the closed position which makes it extremely effective against card to slip attack, there is also a snib function to hold the latch in the locked or unlock position when needed. The cylinder on the outside is covered with a protective housing which helps prevent against drill attacks and forced entry, the cylinder housing also doubles up as a comfortable pull to help with closing the door.

This British Standard Nighltatch from Asec Security complies to British standard 3621:2004 (BS EN 12209), this should be everything needed to make the front door of a property insurance compliant (consult your insurance company).
