Adams Rite MS1890 Dead Hookbolt Latch Metal Door Lock

This unique metal door lock from Adams Rite offers three different lock states to suite door use and time of day, 1-Both lock and latch bolts retracted for unrestricted entry and exit during business hours, 2-Handle-operated latch for exit-only traffic and 3-Maximum Security hookbolt for overnight locking. Operated by screw a pair of screw in cylinder, one of each side and also a simple handle from inside. A range of faceplates are also available for this lock.

Adams Rite MS1890 Dead Hookbolt Latch Metal Door Lock 360 degree turn of key throws or retracts hookbolt, when unlocked a further 120 degrees turn retracts the latchbolt, latch hold back snib located inside bolt cavity, this is accessible only when hookbolt is in thrown position.

Operation

Hookbolt is operated from either side by key or turn using any standard screw in cylinder or thumbturn (with cam). Reversible latchbolt withdrawn by paddle handle or lever from either side
