GU Narrow Stile Sash Lock Case for Single Leaf Doors - B 1314

This mortice sashlock by BKS is a durable and hard-wearing product, suitable for narrow door stiles.  It has a 35mm backset, 92mm centres and has complies to DIN 18251-2 standards.  This deadlock is operated by a euro cylinder, however the cylinder is not included with this product.

One distinct advantage with this GU lock against other narrow stile locks is its latch retraction function.  This allows you to withdraw the latch by turning the key, so if you chose to not allow the use of a handle on the outside of the door for example, but still wanted to be able to gain entry via key, you could unlock the door by key and then proceed to pull the latch back by turning the key another quarter-turn.  This is an advantageous feature when considering things like access control where you may need to restrict handle operation on the outside but still need to be able to gain entry via key override.

On the GU Narrow Stile Sashlock case, the latch is reversible so there is no handing to consider at all - it is a simple twist to reverse type latch reversal, which means you can quickly and easily change the handing of the lock as and when you are on-site about the fit the lock.
