Bathroom mortice lock
The unique feature about a bathroom or toilet door is that it usually only needs to be locked from the inside. After all, the priority is the privacy of the occupant inside as opposed to being able to secure the door from the outside. The basic features that can usually be found on a bathroom mortice lock are a deadbolt or claw bolt along with a latch mechanism. A simple turn on the inside of the door throws the bolt and therefore locks the door. A good example that is suitable for wooden doors is the Briton 5430 bathroom door lock, which is made from high-quality stainless steel. This kind of lock can be used on the standard opening type of door or even on a sliding door. The locks come in a variety of sizes from 64mm up to 152mm and in three colours: brass, satin or nickel and are very reasonably priced
