 The Adams Rite 1354-0201 armlock surface shear magnet is a surface-mounted electric lock designed for use on glass doors. It is suitable for use on 1/4" to 1/2" (6 mm to 12 mm) thick tempered glass doors and can be used in new construction or retrofit installations. The lock is activated by a shear magnet, which is mounted on the door frame and engages with the lock when the door is closed. The lock is designed to provide security and access control for commercial and residential applications, such as office buildings, retail spaces, and residential homes. It is made of aluminum and has a satin anodized finish. The lock can be used with a variety of Adams Rite deadlatches and electric strikes.
